Stage of Re-entry permit
Process should completed by teachers
If you have a single entry visa or extension of stay and would like to travel outside of Thailand for a short period then a re-entry permit will be needed.
There are three alternatives for teachers to apply for re-entry permit.
- Submit your document at The Immigration Office at Chaeng Wattana before the travelling date (Monday – Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm).

Submit your document at The Immigration Office at Suan Phlu before the travelling date (only on Saturday 8:30 am -12:00pm).
Required documents (For above alternatives)
- A completed TM-8 Form
- A 2” size photo (one passport size)
- Photocopy of passport (main page, visa page and latest entry stamp)

Request the re-entry permit at Suvarnabhum Airport, in case of emergency. Re-entry permits are now available at the Suvarnabhumi airport’s Immigration check point as well.
Required documents (For Suvarnabhum Airport)
- Passport
- A 2” size photo (one passport size)
- Boarding Pass
The process starts only after you have checked in.

Current fees:
- 1,000 baht for single
- 3,800 baht for multiple
